Brett Drucker, founder and sommelier of Own Your Palate, holds certifications from both WSET and the National Wine School. Brett’s passion for learning about wine from vine to glass emerged as a college student working in the central coast of California wine country at Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande, California. After graduation he became a wine distributor for Epic Wines & Spirits in Los Angeles, now Southern Glazer’s, where he had the opportunity to work closely with top chefs and sommeliers working in the high-end Beverly Hills restaurant scene, hosting lively wine pairing dinners and teaching an array of wine tastings. After spending time pursuing two Master’s degrees and working in the world of education and the arts, Brett founded Own Your Palate to provide customized private and corporate wine tasting experiences and winery tours that blend meaningful connection with interactive wine exploration. When he is not teaching about wine, Brett loves to travel, read, and cook up a feast with his wife and two daughters.
