Alicia Cypress is a journalist who spent most of her career at The Washington Post and NPR. She’s now managing editor for the World Resources Institute. Her curiosity in wine led her to a WSET certification and a side hustle as a wine writer, where she’s written about wine for NPR, the USA Today Network, Seven Fifty Daily, the Napa Valley Wine Academy and her own website (itswinebyme.com). She recently judged the 2024 Virginia Governor’s Cup wine competition and also serves as an awards judge for the James Beard Foundation.
