Karl Kuhn knows that great wine can come from anywhere. The Maryland native started his wine career as a tasting room staffer for an east coast winery. That experience helped to ignite his passion for beverage and hospitality.  After moving to DC in 2010, he began working in restaurants, and spent time as the Head Sommelier at Jose Andres’ Minibar, Beverage Director for Rose’s Luxury Restaurant Group, and Hospitality Director at RdV Vineyards. In 2019, he received his Advanced Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Karl is passionate about all things wine, from viticulture to service, and is always excited to discover new expressions of this varied elixir.
